Venu Tummalapalli is a marketing professional and an award-winning artist based in Chicago.
He is best known for creating photos that capture ephemeral moments of nature and its elements as a central focus. Landscapes, water, birds, and the moon are listed as his favorite subjects. His left brain – right brain collaboration creates real, abstract, and imaginary interpretations of experiences when he is immersed in nature. His images arouse feelings of excitement, warmth, vitality, and vibrancy. His mantra for fostering individuality in his work is constant learning, unlearning, and relearning.
Although he had an innate passion in photography from childhood, it blossomed with formal training at Richard Stromberg’s Chicago Photography Classes and active involvement with the North Shore Camera Club. His artworks have been chosen for private art displays, receiving awards and honorable mentions in select online and international art competitions.
